Touch the World Media - FAQs
1. Is TWM a non-profit or for-profit company?
TWM is a for-profit company.
2. Why isn’t TWM a non-profit?
The purpose of TWM is to support existing non-profits that are already doing amazing work. As a for-profit, we're able to focus our energy and talents on developing a solid business capable of generating an important, sustainable revenue stream to ignite the work of select charity partners, helping them make a bigger difference. This allows us to give away more money to achieve greater social impact at a much more rapid rate than if we relied on fundraising for support. Our commitment to giving away 50% of profits defines the difference of our bottom line, which for us is the amount of good we're able to create. Because of our work, a lot more children will have food to eat, fewer children will fall victim to human trafficking, and more individuals suffering with HIV/AIDS will receive the treatments they need, just to name a few of the things we're supporting.
3. What kind of orgainzation is TWM?
TWM is currently a LLC (Limited Liability Corporation).
4. How much has TWM given to the select charities?

5. How can I help get the word out about TWM?
Please see our TEAM TWM page.
6. Why does TWM give 50%?
When Jesus was asked the greatest commandment, He said, “Love the LORD your God with all your heart, soul and mind, and the second is like it - Love your neighbor as yourself.” So our goal is to Love God and Love People. We love God first and most, and the result of that is loving people. Jesus said to love our neighbor “as yourself” - that means, “just like you love yourself.” So we’ve chosen to use the “even split” principle in our approach to giving. This is why we give half our revenue to our charity partners.
7. Is TWM just making money off people’s good intentions?
There are always those who see the cup as half empty, and we’re glad we have their perspective to check our motives and decisions. If people were simply giving money to us to give a little to others and we were keeping the rest for ourselves, we would see reason for criticism. Also, if we were charging twice the market rates for our products, that would leave room for questions. But the fact is, we are competing against other for-profit companies. Other companies give little or none of their income to the needy and re-invest the bulk of profit back into the company. For us, the challenge is to run a sustainable retail company on half the revenue of our competitors. We welcome this challenge. The impact of the help and hope we offer are worth the effort. The shallow criticisms some offer are eclipsed by the beauty of the loveprints we leave.
8. Why did you choose these charity partners?
We believe in the work of these charities and we wanted to encourage involvement in global works through a variety of organizations. World Vision is an enormous organization with robust operations in a wide variety of areas all around the globe. Blood:Water Mission is a medium-sized organization with a more focused approach toward the needs in Africa. 10/40 Connections is a smaller organization with very specific goals - helping and reaching people who have never heard about the love of Jesus.
9. What can I do to help support World Vision?
One of their hallmark programs is the opportunity to Sponsor a Child through a small monthly gift. See this and other opportunities to change lives by visiting http://donate.worldvision.org/OA_HTML/xxwv2ibeCCtpSctDspRte.jsp?a=b

12. What are the other products TWM is planning to release?
We’re constantly talking about new projects we could create. We’re working on a “white noise” collection and have also entertained an album of workout music. Please tell us your ideas for what you’d like to see us produce! Visit the Contact tab on our website and send us your thoughts.
13. Why do you call your first product “babyworship”?
We hope to instill a love for God in young hearts. Jesus loved having the children near Him (Matt. 21:16) and we love hearing our little ones singing worship songs to God! We believe that it’s never too early to begin laying the foundation for the love of God in a child’s heart. With so many negative influences in our world, we’re glad to provide a venue encouraging a “baby” to “worship”!
